Sendai FRANCA Second Meeting: September 14th, 2008

Once again Arudou Debito was kind enough to join us to talk about FRANCA and the issues it is being formed to address.
After Debito's talk there was a brief discussion of how the Sendai branch of FRANCA should proceed. Four areas of interest were identified, and volunteers were solicited to take charge of each.
The four areas were:
Networking with other groups (Ben Shearon)
Lobbying local government, institutions, and politicians (unclaimed)
Publicity (Ryan Hagglund and Antonio Park)
Membership (Jim Smiley and Mark Mino-Thompson)
We hope to have another meeting later in the year to discuss our progress and refine our goals and action plan.
